Gregg Wallace<\/a> reportedly told several rude jokes on MasterChef, with John Torode<\/a>\u2019s wife revealing that she \u2018didn\u2019t want to hear them\u2019.<\/p>\n

The 59-year-old judge denied allegations of inappropriate comments <\/a>he was accused of making to a female member of staff at the BBC<\/a>, after reports claimed he was \u2018boasting about his sex life\u2019.<\/p>\n

It was also reported that Gregg saw the comments as \u2018just banter\u2019, however he has now insisted that the comments \u2018were found to be not sexual\u2019 after a BBC investigation.<\/p>\n

Lisa Faulkner<\/a>, who is married to Gregg\u2019s co-star John, 59, has now claimed the TV presenter \u2018repeatedly told rude jokes\u2019.<\/p>\n

Speaking at Cheltenham Literary Festival, the 52-year-old said, according to The Sun<\/a>: \u2018Gregg was telling \u2013 I\u2019m probably not allowed to say this\u2026 Gregg just told rude joke after rude joke to the crew.\u2019<\/p>\n

Lisa had been talking about her time on Celebrity MasterChef in 2010, when she met her now-husband.<\/p>\n

She went on: \u2018You\u2019re just sitting there and if you\u2019re on the front bench just chopping away thinking, \u201cI\u2019ve got ten minutes left,\u201d and he\u2019s saying, \u201cSo this girl walked into a bar\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2018And I\u2019m going, \u201cPlease I don\u2019t want to hear this joke\u201d.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u2018It\u2019s changed quite a lot really,\u2019 John, who was on stage with Lisa to promote their new book, added.<\/p>\n

This comes after Gregg denied anything sexual happened during his appearance on gameshow Impossible Celebrities in 2018, after being accused of taking his top off in front of a BBC employee.<\/p>\n

Gregg took to Instagram to address the accusations in a video that has now been deleted, saying: \u2018With reference to what\u2019s in the newspapers, these allegations were investigated by the\u00a0BBC<\/a>\u00a0six years ago \u2013 and my comments were found to be not sexual. I repeat not sexual. Thank you.<\/p>\n

\u2018Something else that I feel very strongly about, strong enough to be on here, nobody six years ago or since has accused me of flirting with anyone or hitting on anyone, and that is important to me, and I say this for my wife Anna, who I have been true to and madly in love with since the day I met her.<\/p>\n

\u2018I don\u2019t want anyone to misunderstand this and make it look like I was flirting with somebody. Nobody accused me of that and I never have.\u2019<\/p>\n

In another clip on his social media, he said: \u2018The story that is hitting the newspapers, this was investigated promptly when it happened six years ago by the BBC.<\/p>\n

\u2018And the outcome of that was that I hadn\u2019t said anything sexual, I need to repeat this again, I didn\u2019t say anything sexual.<\/p>\n

\u2018Despite what the newspapers are suggesting, nobody six years ago accused me of flirting with anybody or hitting on anybody, and the reason I say this is because of my wife Anna.<\/p>\n

\u2018I have always been true to my wife Anna and never flirted or hit on anybody in the 12 years that I met her and fell in love with her.<\/p>\n

\u2018It\u2019s important that, so people don\u2019t misunderstand that I am true to my wife.\u2019<\/p>\n

A source had previously claimed: \u2018There are questions to be asked about the decision to allow Gregg to continue on MasterChef despite these previous incidents.<\/p>\n

\u2018The BBC say they are keen to clear up issues around workplace culture but have allowed Gregg to remain on a flagship show despite allegations about his conduct.\u2019<\/p>\n

The insider continued to The Sun<\/a>: \u2018Gregg was accused of making inappropriate comments to a younger, female member of the production team.<\/p>\n

\u2018He is said to have been boasting about his sex life with his partner at the time.<\/p>\n

\u2018At one point, Gregg was also accused of taking his top off in front of the woman which felt inappropriate.<\/p>\n

\u2018Gregg appeared to think it was all just banter and is also said to have made some comments in front of the live audience.\u2019<\/p>\n

The team working on the show were said to be \u2018mortified\u2019 and told BBC bosses \u2018what had happened\u2019.<\/p>\n

Greggwas ordered to change his behaviour, it\u2019s claimed, after the BBC \u2018took immediate action\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u2018He made it clear that he didn\u2019t mean anything by what he said,\u2019 it\u2019s reported.<\/p>\n

A statement from the BBC reads, according to the publication: \u2018Whilst we do not comment on individuals, if issues are raised they are dealt with swiftly and appropriately at the time.<\/p>\n

\u2018We do not tolerate any form of inappropriate behaviour and have robust processes in place.\u2019<\/p>\n

Last year, Gregg stepped back from presenting Inside The Factory, after he was accused of making\u00a0\u00a0\u2018<\/strong>derogatory banter<\/a>\u2019 towards female staff.<\/p>\n

He later claimed the reports weren\u2019t \u2018accurate\u2019 and that \u2018there was an argument\u2019, and \u2018an issue\u2019 that he didn\u2019t want to discuss, and said it was \u2018a good time to give something up\u2019 because he wanted to spend more time with\u00a0his four-year-old son<\/a>.<\/p>\n
