Good Morning Britain<\/a><\/strong>\u2018s Susanna Reid<\/a> was left shocked after Richard Madeley<\/a> made an inappropriate comment about the Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> fiasco.<\/p>\n

This morning, the ITV show aired a report of professional dancer\u00a0<\/strong>Katya Jones<\/a>\u2019 outrage at seeing Wynne Evans<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong> \u2018portrayed as someone he\u2019s not\u2019 <\/a>after she appeared to forcibly\u00a0remove his hand from her waist<\/a> on the BBC<\/a> show.<\/p>\n

The Russian dancer, 35, explained on It Takes Two the viral \u2018hand incident\u2019<\/a> was nothing more than a \u2018very silly joke\u2019 <\/a>between herself and the Welsh actor and opera singer, 52.<\/p>\n

On GMB, after senior correspondent Jonathan Swain mentioned Strictly\u2019s catchphrase is \u201ckeep dancing\u201d, Richard commented: \u2018Do you think they\u2019ll change the line to \u201ckeep groping\u201d?\u2019<\/p>\n

Nearly left speechless, and unimpressed Susanna, 53, awkwardly replied: \u2018Mmm.\u2019<\/p>\n

Richard, 68, added: \u2018A possibility? Jokingly of course.\u2019<\/p>\n

Ignoring Richard\u2019s remark, Susanna moved the conversation along by saying: \u2018Look, you\u2019ve got to take their word for it, haven\u2019t you.\u2019<\/p>\n

On X, Richard\u2019s \u2018joke\u2019 sparked outrage among Good Morning Britain viewers, who blasted it as \u2018tone deaf.\u2019<\/p>\n

@ahsley_lovell28 fumed: \u2018@GMB why do you employ the idiot @richardmadeley1 \u2013 tone deaf \u2018joke\u2019. So awkward. Read the roommate. #alanpartridge #Strictly #gmb\u00a0<\/p>\n

Echoing their sentiment, @KirstyJ80 raged: \u2018What an utterly inappropriate comment from Madeley regarding the strictly (non) story #gmb.\u2019<\/p>\n

@Iain_McCallum said: \u2018Richard Madeley\u2019s inappropriate \u201cKeep Groping\u201d comment in response to the @bbcstrictly story was just so out of order and juvenile. I hope he got hell in his ear from the director in the gallery!\u2019<\/p>\n

@laird01554927 also added: \u2018Richard making jokes about groping FFS. #GMB.\u2019<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, Wynne also addressed the viral \u2018hand incident\u2019 and said he was \u2018heartbroken\u2019 by the fallout.<\/p>\n

He told BBC Radio Wales: \u2018I\u2019m absolutely heartbroken by the things that have been written about me in the last day.\u2019<\/p>\n

Wynne also re-iterated that the incident \u2018bad joke\u2019 between the pair of them \u2013 with Katya also describing accusations of wrongdoing as \u2018total nonsense.\u2019<\/p>\n

However, the damage may have already been done as bookies now predict that Wynne is in danger of elimination this weekend.<\/p>\n

Weighing in with their odds for this weekend\u2019s show, bookmakers\u00a0Betfred\u00a0<\/a>revealed how Wynne\u2019s prospects of elimination had shot up \u2013 putting him just behind former footballer and pundit Paul Merson, 56.<\/p>\n

Sunday night\u2019s episode ultimately saw TV handyman Nick Knowles\u00a0eliminated following a dance-off against Shayne Ward<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Metro has contacted ITV for comment.<\/em><\/p>\n
