Just weeks after we last bid farewell to those iconic pods, there is a brand new season of Love Is Blind hitting Netflix this week.
Season seven of the hit dating experiment is premiering on Wednesday, introducing us to a brand new batch of singletons in Washington DC, hoping to meet the one they’ll spend the rest of their lives with.
Hosts Vanessa and Nick Lachey will once again be on hand to help contestants as they go on a string of dates with possible partners before getting engaged – and only laying eyes on the person after taking the plunge.
Following the huge success of the UK version, which landed on the streaming platform in August, all eyes will be on whether the DC counterparts will be able to follow suit.
For the very first time, two sisters have been thrown into the experiment, which could make for some very awkward viewing if they happen to fall for the same man…
Siblings Nina and Tara Zafar will be making the pods home in the upcoming episodes and have a very clear idea of exactly who they’re looking for.
‘I want someone that remembers the things that I like or don’t like and considers my feelings,’ 32-year-old Nina shared in a teaser.
Tara, 29, teased an ‘exciting’ journey ahead…
Elsewhere, sports marketing manager Katie insisted: ‘People assume because I’m 35 and single that I am crazy. I’m actually the opposite, I’m way too cool. I let everybody get away with everything.’
Lifting the lid on his dating non-negotiable, video editor Tamar joked: ‘I hate to quote the Spice Girls but if you want to be my lover, you’ve got to be with my friends.
‘If my friends don’t love you, this is not going to work out.’
Thankfully, we don’t have to wait too long as Love Is Blind is kicking off this week.
‘The hit reality series is back for a seventh season, following a new set of singles from Washington, DC, all ready to cut through the static of modern dating and forge authentic relationships, sight unseen,’ the synopsis reads.
‘This season, the singles form deep and immediate connections, setting the stage for an unexpected journey full of twists, turns, and shocking revelations that will test each relationship well after the participants leave the pods for the real world.’
Bring it on!
Love Is Blind season 7 premieres on Netflix on Wednesday.
